Rule 4 - Change your association with food next »
"Salad is like eating grass or rabbit food".
Do you ever make an association between meat and dog food?
Many of us have had a bad experience from our childhood from salads and vegetables. It maybe from badly cooked and tasteless same-old school meals. Or it maybe from our parents - from watery, over salted sprouts.
Perhaps you were forced to eat your veg? This often creates a negative association with anything healthy - it creates a bad impression in our minds that healthy food is a form of punishment and can't be enjoyed.
If you are following Rule 3, you will eventually find healthy options which YOU actually like. Use the positive association of your newly found food to replace you old negative thoughts with healthy food.
Find healthy foods you like, then think of them as a TREAT not TORTURE!
